“Light is the best disinfectant.” I wish I could remember who said that so I could properly credit them for summing up what I believe needs to happen for criminal justice reform. I live in the heart of the system, I know how messed up it is. I truly believe that for things to change the voices of the people in the system need to reach the other side of the fence. What I write here will be my small contribution to that effort. Tomorrow I’ll probably feel different. Next week I’ll probably feel different. Next year I’ll probably feel different. Let’s see where this goes.
