Rumors, assumptions and ridicule are the few threads embedded in the life I live here behind the walls of incarceration, an innovative purgatory I have to admit. The system at work thrives off of inmate’s belief of prison reform and better conditions inside prisons. Though reform is a major hope for all incarcerated, some deserve this, I say this to say that prison administration’s and those in which may supervise in higher positions, neglect to see the issues that really permeates those who are statistics of recidivism.
Assumptions are problems that men inside thrives on, assuming one is weak, assuming they’re above another because of the position they take part in inside. Another issue which the prison industry fails realize.
