Lets tke a walk down the HOLWAY. If you think “holway” is misspelled, it’s not. Holway – (pronounced Hall-Way) is my last name.

The play on words was inspired from a song by Insain Clown Posse. The lyrics go like this: “Lets take a walk down the hallway, its a long way, it takes all day…”

The second I heard that song, I knew it had to be my theme song.

Why? Because if someone were to walk through the halls of my life, it would be a long hallway, and it would take all day.

Brainstorming on career directions for my art. I envision a Gallery Art Exhibit. That’s what I intent to build through Stone City Blog.  A Gallery that consists of a really long Holway with many turns. A Holway that takes all day to look at.

FORGIVE ME! My name is Troy…Holway. I am a creative force with a hungry intellectual and spiritual chasm.

I love to create something from nothing. I love to make people think. I like to use my art as a platform to voice my opinions, spirituality, and encouragement for others.

You often meet your fate on the road you take to avoid it. My incarceration is due to long term, almost soul destroying, drug addiction. I’ve been fighting it since my youth.

The good news is I’m sober now. I may even be able to salvage whats left of my life…and I owe this to Jesus.

God knows how to get us where He wants us to be.

My goals and aspirations are to make an impact on the world, my nation, my region, my state, and my city.

I know that may sound lofty for an unknown starving artist in prison. But God uses the foolish things of this world to confound the wise. I’m in a season of transformation.

As I become more aligned with my destiny, my art also undergoes transformation.

I plan to share these transformations through Stone City Blog. I invite you to ride along.
