Why doesn’t anyone want to be looked at as being different? It seems like everyone just wants to fit in and be excepted. Even if its for the wrong things.Peer pressure is a very powerful thing,no matter what age group you are in.I’ve been called strange or weird because I don’t cuss.I’ve also been called strange or weird because I dont view pornography.Why would I look at naked women and sexually explicit material all day and I have no way of fulfilling those desires? It sounds kind of smart to me.Most of the people (not all)who live and work here expect us to act a certain type of way.I refuse to allow what other people think of my good qualities, to make me change who I am. Now of course if someone was putting dirt on my name and saying I was a homosexual or snitch. Of course I would care,because it would be smearing my name and my character as a man.But I would never be ashamed of being different in this environment. I tell my children all the time, it takes true strength to do the right thing when everyone around you is doing wrong. So being different for the good qualities that we have, is not a bad thing. Because while all the other people in world are being followers and trying to fit in. People like us are blazing our own trail.
