Does EVERYTHING have to be wrapped up so very nice and pretty.
Does EVERYTHING have to look so splendidly nice and pretty.
Does EVERYTHING have to sound so eloquently nice and pretty.
Does EVERYTHING have to be presented so effortlessly nice and pretty.
Does EVERYTHING have to seem so perfectly nice and pretty.
Is there any room for the ugly.
Would there be any space for the show of mistakes.
Could the broken pieces possibly peak through.
Is authenticity welcomed anywhere.
Could transparency ever be respected.
hmmmm…
I wonder if we could ever reverse the curse of “all things perfect”. And, embrace the truth that we do not have everything nice and pretty.
When will we acknowledge that we are ALL Perfectly Imperfect.
The rich and the poor alike. The white and the black alike. The young and the old alike. The man and the woman alike. The professor and the janitor alike. The white collar, blue collar, and no collar alike.
We all possess broken pieces.
We all, at some point, find our lives to be far stretch from “nice and pretty”.
Absolutely NO ONE is perfect.
Yet…
We are ALL PERFECTLY IMPERFECT!
And…
That is PERFECTLY OKAY!
