POEM by- KARLTON M.KINCAID

“DESPERATE”

what I want and what I need,
differently the same thing,
I want more, than I need,
desperately in need of least,

the least I have, ambition’s peak,
a hunger, thirst, and savagery,
strive for more of which achieves,
a sacrifices sake of being,

to lose whats left is all I need,
a desperate act of wanting free,
bound to want, can give to me,
just what I need to give relief,

desperate am I, takenly,
persistence trys and “will” succeeds,
who will do with haves they need,
or will do to get want’s means,
