2 steps forward, 1 step backwards…. By: Mr. Da’Von Motley Sr.

I’ve been doing SOME MORE thinking and evaluating lately. Its no surprise that life is full of events that will ultimately push us forward or hold us back. There may be times where in the event of being held back its almost impossible to prevent. These situations happen everyday, all day. Someone could be in the path of sure destruction and not even know it because its unforseen and unavoidable. The earth at any moment can stop turning, an earthquake could shake the entire earth, someone could decide to shoot up a mall or the building on the corner by the bus stop could just collapse without warning and kill the people waiting for the bus. Things like that are unavoidable. With me having time to think about my future I’ve come to understand that my thoughts and actions are precious and I need to take them more seriously. If your able to think positive you will be able to act positive in turn. If I can force the negative thoughts out then I can control my actions and make them more positive. It doesn’t necessarily mean violent thoughts or bad thoughts it can be something simple as thinking about what to eat, should I use salt or should I workout today. Carefully being able to examine a thought and act on that thought would result in more positive results in life. In any life situation it calls for precise thoughts followed up with precise actions that are reflections of humility and positivity. With that in mind at all times we must find ways to be a better person than we were. Whether its better than you were 10 years ago or 10 minutes ago it still makes a difference in your journey and possibly effecting someone else. If someone else sees you moving 2 steps forward and 1 step backwards then they might be able to do the same. Now your making a difference in whatever community your in and especially in your families lives. Staying one step ahead is productive in any situation.

Today’s question: How can you make progress without resources?
