My name is Benita Ochoa, I am 30 years old and I have been in prison since 2008. I will be released in June of 2019 but am currently taking classes that could potentially help me to be released sooner. I am from California. I write poetry, read a variety of different books, and have a talent for art. I listen to many different genres of music and I enjoy playing chess. I’ve never done anything like this inmate blogger so this is new to me. But hopefully my followers enjoy my poetry, thoughts, and everyday blogs.
