The cleansing power of the new year – portrayed by Brandon Earl

I am the new year. I am an unspolied page in your book of time..

I am your next chance at the art of living. I am your opportunity to practice what you have learned about life during the last twelve months.

All that you sought and didn’t find is hidden in me, waiting for you to search it but with more determination.

All the good that you tried for and didn’t achieve is mine to grant when you have fewer conflicting desires.

All that you dreamed but didn’t dare to do, all that you hoped but didn’t will, all the faith that you claimed but didn’t have-these slumber slightly, waiting to be awakened by touch of a strong purpose.

I am your opportunity to renew your allegiance to him who said ” Behold, I make all things new.” – revelations 21:5

Hello, Ms. Jennings thank you for including me in your blog. My name is Brandon Earl I’m 39 years old. I’m from Everett, Wa born and bred. I went to Lowell elementary, Evergreen middle and Everett high. After high school I entered the construction field. I had made that my profession for 17 years. In 2008 my son Blake was born to me and my first wife. Blake is my everything.

In February of 2013 I was sentence to eight years four months. Im set to be released in July of 2021. I have been married twice in my life. I’m currently going threw a divorce with my second wife. We got married before I was sentenced and prison can be stressful on a marriage. So its understandable.

I have been in prison for five years now. I have received three certificate in those five years from grays harbor community college. I started by get my G.e.d. Then I moved on to basic Bookkeeping and I just finished up with basic small business skills. That’s 300 total hours and 67 college credits. I’m currently enrolled in a vocational writing course. All this is building up to an associates degree in business science. I look forward to opening a business where I will design and build handcrafted furnishings upon my release.

But I do enjoying writing about how everone needs compassion and that we need to treat everone with love and respect. I believe a sin, is a sin ,is a sin and we all deserve a second chance. There’s no crime that should be glorfied. or that looks better in comparison to another. Thank you again Ms.Jennings for giving me this beautiful opportunity.
