Allow me to introduce myself. My name is Brent Starr and I am a few months away from turning 40. I was arrested for first degree murder on July 4, 2008. I was convicted of the murder in May 2009 after a long two week trial and was sent to prison with a 28 year sentence on June 9th 2009. If I don’t win my case in the near future I am scheduled to be released in November of 2035. That’s a lot of time to think about, well…. everything, for a murder that was committed in a house in my home town while I was at work over 20 miles away.

David and I had many conversations and he expressed that he was nervous about being in that house w/ you and Debbie I tried to convince him to leave but he thought that you were just a phase and she would get over you. I have to say, that I know the justice system has definitely failed in so many cases. This sadly, I don’t think is one of them. Even without a single bit of forensic evidence, your own words through text messages has proven your guilt. There isn’t a single example of how it could mean anything else. The fact that they were deleted, is all the more evidence of guilt of both parties. Honestly can’t understand how you can come here and plead your innocent. Now that being said, I believe good people can get caught up in bad shit. Emotions can play a huge role in everything we do. I believe we all deserve a second chance, but, you need to atone for what you have done before that second chance can happen. I hope that one day you stop pretending to be the victim and start making peace within yourself so that you may get your second chance. God Bless!
