As a concerned party, I am eager to engage in a multi-perspective dialogue regarding Initiative 162. Otherwise known as the “Right To Die” law. Initiative 162 is a voluntary suicide program offered to convicted criminals. The purpose of the law is two fold: Firstly, reduce the taxpayer costs associated with criminal incarceration; Secondly, reallocate those savings into social programs designed to rehabilitate communities where criminal activity and victimization are most severe.

Following a brief OVERVIEW, Initiative 162 comprises six sections accompanied by subsections. I will be providing each of the six sections in my early postings. After affording readers an opportunity to review the initiative, I will be looking forward to discussions regarding the laws potential efficacy and morality.
