I feel for the families of those who lost their lives, and also those who were wounded in the terrorist attacks in Paris.
It’s hard to believe that people would intentionally carry out such terrible actions on the innocent. I can empathize with the pain of losing a loved one, but also of being the one who took the life of another.
I carry the full weight of remorse for the man I shot, but my intention was never to take the life of another. My inentions were selfish, criminal, and reckless, but not the least bit murderous.
In my daily effort to build a better me, I am fueled by the thought that I can share my story and help prevent such senseless loss of life for future generations.
My thoughts and prayers go out to those affected by the paris attacks.
