I’ve become friends and aquaintenced with alot of diffferent people,
since I been on this journey of being incarcerated and through my
travels of different parts of dryland, (EARTH THAT IS)….
As far as doing time, we all can relate to unity in one fashion or another,
just as those who are free can relate to the need of unity also.
Whether its religion, ethniticy groups, sports, and even support groups.
unity plays its major roll, for many reasons.
Today in our society our nation is divided, the division is caused by
many different things, such as race, politics, money and religion
along with greed, and ignorance.The lack of knowledge brings
into play a division of unity.
My religious preference is islam, and in islam we believe whole heartly
in the oneness of God. That single belief brings unity among
our communities, race and class of people. NO BARRIERS, ALL
ONE GOD AT THE SAME TIME THROUGHOUT THE DAY.
At this time I would like to quote a verse thats out of the Noble Qur’an
49:13,
“WE HAVE CREATED YOU FROM A MALE AND FEMALE, AND MADE
YOU INTO NATIONS AND TRIBES, THAT YOU MAY KNOW ONE
ANOTHER.”
Unity is something much needed in some countries and in other parts
of the world, it brings two people together either through faith, or various beliefs.
Having empathy, compassion, and self awareness is : being mindful
of ones feelings and situation.
In the year of 1984, my mother migrated up to Wa, state from Tn,
due to a relationship gone bad the transition was hard for a single
parent with three kids.
I was ten yrs. old, a restless adalesonce who no doubt got on others nerves, so me being out the house was the solution for others to having their freedom in the house, outside play time cool and the
school playground was right down the street made things even better.
The plan was for me to ware off some of the energy I had, the
school I went to was down the block from were we stayed so I would
go there to play. There was a group of kids playing soccer, so I decied I
I wanted to give it a try, honesty I though it was nothing but kicking
a ball around, oh boy was I wrong. It took some geting use to. I did alright.
One day the coach came out to watch us play and he offered 3 of us
a spot on the team, mom didn’t have the $10 doller deposite so
the coach gave me a free ride to be on the team. I’m sure it was cause
I worked hard at all I did even when I was just having fun.
The endeavor me and my family went through financially, the coach
were empothy towards our financial sittuation.
On the same note it was amazing the cmpassion they by, bring me
clests, and other equipment, and sometimes we went out to lunch
after the game.
I played every game as if my life fepended on it.
I could not afford the fee to be on the team, so I used the given gift
that God given me which was speed, I know my talent and I was
out to make moms proud and my teammates also.
With this short story and the condition our country’s in I would like
to chellenge someone who could stimulate consciousness among
our nation, that would allow us to be a better place.
By learning to unite with one anothers having that empothy so we
can pool our resources to do compassionate thing for each other
and ourselves.

With that being real, if you know who we are undividally coming together as one there is no stoping our nation Amerca” at all,
