NYS DOC employees reaction to the HALT act and no longer being allowed to use SHU for violent convicts…we live in constant danger of being assaulted by both the inmates and C.O’s?!
A man had his whole face ripped open at first chow, at lunch he sat across from his attacker with his face stitched up and knowing by last chow he’d be attacked again. You have noone who shows care, only custody and control. Before, you were moved to another block and would be given protection. Now you’re allowed to get jumped by 4 guys 2x’s in one day and in the morning it repeats.
Blood is cleaned up after days splashed all over the hallway?! A man cut his own throat last week; he didn’t get taken to the Hospital or Clinic for 2 hours and the blood was all over that cell! Took 3 mops to clean it. No one called his family or even told us if he’d made it? This is out of control. Why are tax payers paying to let them let us kill each other? Why is a man 3 years into 6 to do, spending 23 a day in a cage w/out any programming or re-entry work being done? I’m a petty drug dealer that is housed w/ murderers!?!
Something is not right! I am starving. Lost over 100 lbs in 20 months and have never gotten any mail. Last visit was 6 months ago when my 2nd wife said she didn’t wanna be with me anymore. They give 2 free calls a week on phones ran by the cops. I don’t even call anyone. Need to stay clean w/out MAT and find ways to eat.
I’m more alone than I’ve ever been and 2000 guys live here all around me. Need a book on grant writing and some help w/ digital world to earn some food. No man should suffer and starve!!!
