A place where we are forced to live life as thugs and drug dealers and will never let go

Welcome You!
To a place where we are forced to be men at our teens
A place where any given street corner can be a crime scene.
Can you hear that?!
I said White America, can you hear our screams?!
Cuz down here in the ghetto, little kids don't have dreams
They have nightmares! So they grow up to be killers
Gang bangers, bank robbers, pimps and drug dealers!
Do you feel us?
I said White America, do you feel our pain?!
Well then listen very closely as I try to explain
Why is it that we do
The things we do
Tell me, what would you do
If you had all the odds stacked up against you?
Would you just sit there and let them take over you?
Or would you do whatever you go to?!
To Survive! Cuz that's just what we're doing
Although in certain situations our lives we might ruin.
Survival!
That's why we can't let go
