LONELINESS

THE DAMAGE OF LONELINESS, by Terry Little

Loneliness has many synonyms–unhappy, miserable, afraid, isolated, or undesired are a few when equating their relationships to this human feeling. No matter what one calls it, however, it will always mean one word, “Lonely”. A deplorable, insensitive emotion that lives on hopelessness. Its abode is darkness, and like a black hole in space it devours its victims with an unrecoverable pull as it shifts into a paradigm of destruction.

  1. Loneliness is the inner cry of an unmet need, be that in any situation alone, with a good friend or surrounded by a joyful throng. The unmet need is subjective and personal.
