In The Dark, by Labrandon Giles

Share

I write this at a time in prison where past, present, and future meets:night time. All over the world there are millions of prisoners who lay in their beds and ponder upon their past, present, and future acts. Very few are aware that these are the moments when growth occurs; when the redemption takes shape; the blind are made to see in these dark hours of the night.
During these dark hours of the night the prisoner is faced with nothing but his or her self. By this essential self being exposed to the critical evaluation of the individual, the intangible options are set before the individual to choose either stagnation or elevation. We know the results of either choice so that doesn’t need to be explained.
To the awaken mind the solitude of these dark hours helps to develop a profound knowledge of self. They are introduced to aspects of their selves that they never knew existed. By being blessed with this level of enlightment, the awaken mind intiates the refinement process to rid themselves of all the impurites of self. The above stated proccess becomes a lifestyle for the individual. Peace.

These are just my thoughts for the night.

Reach out. Lets add on and build. My young mind is hungry. I can be reached via JPay.com.
