Dear Mrs. Suzie Jennings:

I’d like to start this off with taking the time out to thank you for allowing myself and others the opportunity to let my/our voice(s)/words, thoughts, opinions, and feelings be heard through your “cyber vehicle”. I, personally, can’t thank you enough; you have no idea how this is going to help me with my sanity. I love to write and this will definitely help me cope with my present predicament. I can’t speak for anyone else, but this will be EXTREMELY therapeutic for me. With that being said, I’d like to finish this off with the little introduction that is required of me.

As you know, my name is Jeffrey Tobias and I’m 46 years of age; I was born on April 30, 1972, and raised in Cleveland, Ohio, where I attended the following schools: Charles H. Lake, Saint Philip Neri, Walton, and Empire. In my beginning year at Empire (7th. grade), I moved to Oklahoma City, Oklahoma to live with my Grandmother. In OKC, I went to Rodgers (7th. grade) and Carl Albert (8th. grade), before I returned back to Cleveland, Ohio to finish my education at Lincoln West and Glenville High Schools. I couldn’t handle the tornados in Oklahoma, watching them on television is one thing, but to experience them in real life is another ball game all together! I’m a six foot (6′), two inch (2″), caramel/peanut buttered complected brother [bronze toned in the summer πŸ™‚ ] of 200 lbs. with a bald head and goetee. I’ve been told that I’m easy on the eyes with a genuine smile that reaches them. I’m very honest, extremely loyal, to a fault, humorous, understanding, and respectful of others feelings and space. I’m intelligent and always willing and looking forward to learning something new; I have 81 credits towards a 120 credit Bachelors Degree in Behavioral Science, with a GPA of 3.545. I would love to obtain my Masters, in the same field, before it’s all said and done. But regardless of my circumstances, I would consider myself a well rounded individual. I know “this isn’t a pen pale site,” but I’m just trying to give you/ the readers a visual of the person behind the words.

I was extradited to Ohio, from the nortoriously infamous New York State prison, Sing Sing Correctional Facility, after completing a 25 years to Life sentence, for a crime I didn’t commit, nor helped participate in on any level, on December 26, 2017. The crime transpired on December 31, 1992, at 11:30pm (New Years Eve);I was 20 years young at the time. I was implicated and railroaded for the simple fact that I didn’t/couldn’t cooperate. Even though I completed the time, I’m still fighting for my innocence! The struggle doesn’t stop! I’m currently serving a 10 to 25 year sentence that was suppose to have been ran concurrent with the 25 years to Life sentence that I was just released on. My present release date is set for 2028, but I am in the process of trying to find a lawyer, Pro bono if possible, to represent me on this particular case. Once my time is finally ran concurrent, I will be released immediately. I hope to be home and back in college by 2020.

Well Mrs. Jennings, I’m going to end this missive for now, but, hopefully, never forever. I’m looking forward to reaching out to the readers on your blog because I do have a lot to say. I’d like to thank you again for the opportunity and I’ll be a frequent writer. Be on the look out for my first installment titled: “TRYING TO MAKE THE TRANSITION; The Prison System/Life of New York State vs. The Prison System/Life of Ohio”. It will take a little time because I’m VERY METICULOUS with my writing, well I try to be anyway πŸ™‚ .

Respectfully submitted,

Jeffrey Tobias #A704-109
