Hello, my full name is Lawrence D. Williams, B.K.A. “Larry”. Im 40 years of age, and an original Detroit ,Michigan native. Ive been incarcerated since December of 2002 for a shooting and Drug trafficking. In addittion, I was then extradited from Atlanta,GA here to Ohio to serve out my time. I also have two kids, (fraternal twins) a daughter and a son, both in whom i love very much. Both are 19 years of age and are currently in college. Nevertheless Ive made the decision to start blogging because i also believe that writing can be a great source of my rehabilitation, growth, and healing. I enjoy uplifting conversations, and try to avoid those that are deterrent to my mental stimulation. And blogging will give me a 2nd chance at allowing me to build a ineractive and positive community and people around me. absent finances; when cash is
not “king” nor is even a “servant”?
So what broken “reeds” move
without Wind or with shoes; bringing
no one The News which is great…
from our GOD!
The answer is simply without any
mystery, found all throughout history,
such souls HE compels!
Through trial and triumph, denial
and victory, for Jew and Gentile,
HIS SPIRIT flows — sovereign.
So cling tightly, oh Soul, to CHRIST’s
long, flowing robes and for Life to HIM
hold as HE draws you…to Heav’n!

Devotional: When we accept HIS sovereignty and ways are far above our ways, even beyond comprehension and description, there is a sweet surrender and a lasting peace that comes with such knowledge.
Let’s review three scriptures Psalms 30:8 “Keep falsehood and lies far from me; give me neither poverty nor riches, but give me only my daily bread.” When it is the LORD moving through us “to will and to do of HIS good pleasure” (Philippians 2:13) AND we believe in HIS movements, “always working all things together for our good” (Romans 8:28)…that we truly “feel HIS compelling”.
When The HOLY SPIRIT moved through the prophets who were assigned to pen HIS WORD and only HIS words, it might be said without question that that was the greatest compelling by CHRIST of all. That said, please also consider 2 Corinthians 5:14.
“I have been crucified with CHRIST, and I no longer live, but CHRIST lives in me. The life I live in the body, I live by faith in the SON of GOD, WHO loved me and gave HIMSELF up for me.”
You are I are equals in HIS eyes. HE is no respecter of persons meaning you and I and all other Christians ever…are equals in HIS sight. Accepting this brings relief because we are made righteous BY HIS BLOOD alone! What compelling force HIS crimson offering eternally is! So we live FOR HIM, by faith IN HIM, and we surrender all TO HIM.
In addition, we pray for our own, unique, individually and sovereignly portioned “daily bread”. Keep in mind that this is not our definition of what that means. What looks like extreme poverty, loss, discomfort and etc to our flesh can easily be a perfect assignment of provision for that day.
Who are we to define that? Paul was imprisoned and beaten often, many disciples were martyred, Esther was forced from her only family to go be “bride contestant” for King Xerxes against her will, Job lost all his family and possessions for nothing that he did and yet each received their daily bread perfectly…as HE designed. That’s sovereignty. CHRIST’s and CHRIST’s alone.
Galatians 3:28-29 “For all of you who were baptized into CHRIST have clothed yourselves with CHRIST. There is neither Jew nor Greek, slave nor free, male nor female, for you are all one in CHRIST JESUS!”
Clothe then yourselves with HIS robes of Righteousness! Cling to HIM with sheer and zealous affection, trusting in HIM WHO does all things well. HE does so in perfect time, always compelling us in HIS service to the good works each of us are to do, without error!
