I’m finally permitted to read my own book.
Hope I don’t corrupt myself.
Months and months ago, Little Black Cart sent me a copy of my book, ‘Last Act of the Circus Animals.’ They hoped to get my comments and revisions.
I never got the book. I also never got the letter from LBC letting me know they sent it. When they never heard back from me, they got ahold of mutual friends who asked me about the book and I let them know I never got it. So, LBC met with their counsel and had their counsel send mail to me. Legal mail is special, privileged mail.
I never got that either.
After I sent out an article for posting at the end of January about this fuckweaselry, mailroom staff assured me they didn’t have the book. They said they looked everywhere. It just did not exist.
Turns out, it was sitting on the desk of Warden’s Assistant Greg Craft, the former investigator here. He had the book the whole time. It appears that Craft personally spearheaded the investigation into the book for several months and came to the final, official conclusion that, in the real world, animals do not talk.
