100 Days in the “SHU” by Jessica Scarberry

OMG. I been in the SHU, aka the hole, at Tallahassee Federal Prison for 100 days. A inmate here made a false statement on me and 3 others women, a complete lie that lead us to suffer being locked behind a door 24 hours a day. They only let us shower Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. They serve us the worst rotten food we are starving because we can’t buy commissary forced to eat the bad food. We can’t use the phone but once a month. No way to do legal work because they don’t allow us to. They are shipping me all off a life. But I’m thankful to leave Tallahassee FCI because its the worst federal prison for women. The only thing to ikeep me and my bunkie from losing our minds is the Bible and Godl. On the bright side I should be leaving soon after taken over 3 months to do transfer paperwork. This prison system is horrible. #free #me
