Happy B-Day to my 2nd oldest son Jaiden.
I just wanted him to know that on this day when he turned 15, I was in prison. But I was thinking about him. Your mom wouldn’t even come get your Xmas presents, and I don’t know where to send you a bday gift. So just know that on this day I was so proud of you. U NOT LIKE ME! By the time I was your age I was already a junky and a convicted felon.
U NOT LIKE ME! You are a good, sweet, innocent family guy. This adversity of growing up without me will shape your life in some positive way. This is the only pmomise I can make you. One day you’ll see. We are not victim to our circumstances, I am a product of my decisions. My son, my baby boy. This may not make sense now, its not for you until later anyway. Just know that ”the same boiling water that softens potatoes, hardens eggs, its all about what you are made of, NOT YOUR CIRCUMSTANCES!” Baby boy you are made of LOVE! So know this. You have a good, soft soul. You are Gods son, and a warrior. Know that I am very proud of you. I love you very much. My shame, guilt and lack of honor torment my soul, for not being there for you. But maybe God has a plan for me too.
Baby boy just remember that life is short. So all that is promised is the here And now.
