If my wings were to heal
in time I’ll fly until the end
If only I was given a chance
for once I will surely win
If my hands ever to be wash
I won’t ever dirty them again
If tomorrow continue to come
I’ll only live among the best of men
If my eyes keep closing to dream
with awakening they’ll become vision
If I eat knowledge and digest wisdom
understanding will be given to who listen
If I had the power to stop time
thinking will be what I recommend
If and when these words are heard
know they’ll never break but only bend
