I was found to be positive for covid-19 by a test done in Marion correctional institution April of 2020.About the second week of April before the test I was unbelievably sick and I received no medical attention.Ohio Department Of Rehabilitation And Corrections has policy they are to follow in situations like this a few are policy 10-saf-06 safety and health procedures within the ocss effective date 2015-06-19, policy 10-saf-09 safety and health committee effective date 2018-03-05, policy 12-cta-04 first aid and health related crisis response effective date 2014-10-13.

However none of those policies were put into action.But we were told by a e-mail 4-6-2020 that ‘operational changes’ were to come.The reality check is I almost died and I never received any medical attention. No administrative, officers or nurses were of any aid in regards to my illness that I contracted from the staff here.

There are no medical staff coming to the dorms checking on men who test positive. I’m in 2 dorm and its been a least a week since nurses came to check temps.And when they last did there were no questions taken as soon as they came they left!

The treatment I and others have received is beyong negligence its CRIMINAL. The reality check is there are constant lies from prison officials on t.v.lies about the food,treatment,being quarantine the only ones being quarantined are the men who test negative!

Check the record here I was never moved to medical for my condition. The reality check I ALMOST DIED IN PRISON NOT OF VIOLENCE FROM ANOTHER INMATE BUT FROM A VIRUS PASSED BY A OFFICER WHICH IS KNOWN AND I RECEIVED NO MEDICAL AID!

SO I GUESS MY SENTENCE WAS CHANGED TO DEATH…..If I can’t stay healthy I’m going to die in prison…..REALITY CHECK-
