I PLEDGE, by Anthony Waters

poetry:

I PLEDGE,
TO EDUCATE THE UNEDUCATED AND RESPECT EVERY ONE WITH THEIR DUE RESPECT AS A COMMON COURTESY.

I PLEDGE,
TO HOLD MYSELF ACCOUNTABLE FOR MY ACTIONS AND MY WORDS IN THE MIST OF MY FAMILY AND FRIENDS WHILE WORKING DILIGENTLY TO PROTECT MY COMMUNITY,

I PLEDGE,
MY FIDELITY TO THE LIBERATION OF MY PEOPLE BEFORE AND AFTER ME,

I PLEDGE TO HELP REBUILD MYSELF AS WELL AS MY NATION.

One mind lost is a tragedy but thousands of minds lost is a catastrophe,
see any thing lost can be found again except for time that’s been lost.
Follow the righteous paths because we already experienced and witnessed that it takes just as much strength to follow as it do to lead,
debar the violence and seize any opportunity u need to succeed.

peace to the true and living
