IDENTIFY, by Louis Husband

The idea of race emerged in America relatively recent as a means of reconciling chattel slavery– (as well as the extermination of American Indians) Race did not begin with assigned “colors” to one group or another.
We were considered “color”ed centuries before because of the tint of our skin, then later, “black” was used as more of a derogatory term to ensure the subordinate status of a group defined largely by race.

1) A local geographic or global human population distinguished as a more or less distinct group by genetically transmitted physical characteristics

2) Humanity as a whole

3) A group of people united or classified together on the basis of common history, nationality, or geographic distribution

Race is not defined as Black or White
There are a group of people that is of color; and the other group is without color.

BLACK is not a color!
WHITE is devoid of color!

Definition of COLOR:
that aspect of things caused by differing qualities of light REFLECTED or EMITTED by them
(*in order to see an object, it must be EMITTING light, or REFLECTING light)

When you combine all the colors in the visible light spectrum (red, orange, yellow, green, blue, indigo, & violet), a ‘color’ close to pure white is formed.

WHITE symbolizes purity or, being pure

BLACK, (the exact opposite of white light), is the absence of light or the absorption of all light. A “black” piece of paper APPEARS black because all the light is being absorped into the paper………none is reflected back out. Black does not REFLECT light nor, EMITT light…..it ABSORBS light.
(*in order to see an object, it must be EMITTING light, or REFLECTING light)

Black symbolizes evil or, according to science, death; black is non-EXISTENT.
BLACK is not a color, its an description; symbolization

*PIGMENT: A substance used as coloring

When dealing with pigments, like paints, inks, and dyes, three primary pigments of yellow, magenta and cyan when mixed, creates ALL other shades, EXCEPT black. They do not represent all the colors of the spectrum needed to form black. (*when they’re all mixed together it looks more like a muddy brown than black).
example: that’s why most color ink jet printers have a cartridge with yellow, cyan, and magenta ink, and another separate ink cartridge of just black

*PIGMENT (in biology terms)
A substance that imparts a characteristic “color” to animal or plant tissue; (which is skin pigmentation).
White, by definition: Of the color white: DEVOID of hue, (devoid of color or shade). So white is NOT a “color.”

White represents being pure, while black represents evil or, death. They are not colors, they’re descriptions; symbols.

To IDENTIFY means to “make the same as”….

So when people of color identify to that description as being “black”, you make yourself THE SAME AS, “evil” or “death”, which in turn, you identify as not human or, subhuman. And our countrys’ original document, the Constitution, slaves were defined as 3/5 of a man, not a real, whole human being.

People of color are called Black because ‘Black’ according to science means Death. We were/are considered to be a DEAD nation.

So what happens if you don’t know/don’t have your nationality? You become Stateless. Stateless means you lack citizenship/nationality, which in turn makes you a Refugee. So, a particular Nation is NOT required to give rights to anyone without a Nationality.

People of color has been conditioned for centuries to think a certain way. If no one steps up to break the cycle, it continues.
When you acquire any information, its up to you to decide to believe in it or not. But to accept any information as [your] belief, as [your] truth, you move accordingly to that newly acquired information.
So think about the next time you fill out a job application and, you’re confronted with the question, ‘Race/Nationality?’ and they give you options of either:
There are two nationalities and two that are description or symbols. Don’t be an accomplice by taking away your own nationality. Don’t take away your identity.
