Miracles Happen, by Zachery Matthews

While she checks my convictions with resistance/ I move with Fast and Furious precision/ but she moves like an apparition/ apprehensive/ to come into the light/ to come to the one she knows will treat her right/ although she comes throughout the night/ don’t let it be said I didn’t run into her life/ battling her fears and all the worries she buries deep inside/ I focus on what she hides/ so that one day in her heart my heart will reside/ and take root/ cause she’s proof/ that Miracles exist/ that heaven loses angels on a daily basis/ if she’s a fantasy she’s a mystery/ I’m willing to explore to keep this one near to me//
