Hello!,
I’ll start this out by introducing myself to everyone out there.
My name is William A. Maag, I am 55 yrs young. I am currently incarcerated at the Allen/Oakwood Correctional Institution in Lima, Ohio serving out a twenty-three year prison term. If you would like to know more about this or if you happen to have any questions for me I will do my very best to answer any questions.
I was arrested on February 21st, 2001 where I spent 287 days awaiting to be tried. I was admitted to the Ohio Department of rehabilitations and Corrections on December 6th, 2001 and have been incarcerated in one prison or another since. My current release date is scheduled for December 31st, 2023.
Since I’ve been incarcerated I have completed many rehabilitative programs along with an apprenticeship program in training dogs. This program in itself has been very rewarding for me as I truly enjoyed working with the various dogs that were unadoptable upon me receiving them.
I consider myself to be lucky to have had that opportunity as it was not only rewarding for me but as well for the dogs, and the families that have so kindly adopted from this program. Please see (Google), the Lima News Prison Dogs/Program, for more information on this topic.
