It takes a certain amount of acceptance to fight against conflictual reality. You have to take the blinders off to see behind the facade this side of heaven. It is convenient to ignore the things that destroy your peace of mind. If fake peace is what you now feel you deserve. Some take the easiest route and ignore what they could have prevented or ignore the realism that no matter what you would have done you could not have stopped the run away train that hit your life. Your love. Your livelihood. What do you do now with the wreckage? You can only ponder that shit after you’ve accepted what it is now. After. What am I talking about? EVERYTHING!!!!!! You have to pay attention. You know the old commercial ” You can learn a lot from a dummy” well listen to me I know you are hard pressed to believe that you can learn from anybody who managed to destroy their life in such a way that now they sit in prison with more than four natural life sentences. Guess what you can. Now pay attention I am trying to get you to learn acceptance in the most basic and minute things in your life so you can live. No you haven’t been living at all you are like a hamster on a wheel moving so fast that you miss everything. You have to gain the acceptance that you are one person, that you can only do so much in one day, that kids grow up so fast, that your boss will never acknowledge the extra you put in. Acceptance takes the tension out of your shoulders and puts you in a happy place because the delusions are gone ( weight lifted ) the guilt is gone ( weight lifted ) the anger is gone ( weight lifted ) now you have space in your life for productivity. What to do with all of this possibility ? What have you missed out on, never had time to do, always dreamed ? Do that. Don’t over think it and please don’t talk yourself out of doing it jeez. Now live. Accept the simple fact that you deserve to have survived.
