For years I have entertained the idea of publishing my story. In fact it has been suggested by many of my friends and associates that I should write a book or perhaps publish something to the effect that showcases some of the experiences that I have encountered in my life. That is because I have gone through what some could arguably say are unique or extraordinary things throughout the course of my life. In fact one could argue that my convictions are both a product and living proof of unique and extraordinary circumstances.
In essence, that is the driving force that ultimately led to my decision to publish the story leading up to my convictions. By no means is this an attempt to glorify things or put any of my past or present situation on any sort of pedestal. I simply want to share the entire story from my perspective and give readers some insight into the events leading up to my present situation and beyond. Put another way, I am inviting readers to walk a mile in my shoes, which hopefullly showcases why I continue to fight relentlessly to change the criminal justice system as best as I can.
In closing, I am excited and looking forward to sharing, “The Jailhouse Lawyer” with you.
