My name is Angel, I’m 41 years of age and I’ve been incarcerated for 24 years on a single life sentence plus 3 years with no parole for a crime I committed as a juvenile, 5 months into my 17 birth day in February, 1995. Before I go on I want to let everyone know that I will use this platform for all the right reason, to inspire, be mindful of everyone way of thinking and by know means I will make myself out to be the victim in my circumstances. I have always taken full responsibility for my crime and actions, I know that my poor decision making at that time caused a ripple effect for what came to be. I really want to show the person that I am now. I want to thank Mrs. Jennings for giving me an opportunity and platform to express my thoughts and to show the growth in me, positive attitude and way of thinking when someone is given a second chance. My life behind these walls have made me the man that I am, I say to those that are here with me and everyone reading this, life is living and it can be taken from you at any moment, love yourself your family and everyone around you, because at the end of the day is always the small things you treasure the most. I will use this platform for encouragement and to express myself with faith and wisdom. Thank you so much for your time and understanding.
