JESUS at the Beginning, by Donte Cammon

JESUS was with GOD when HE created the universe. Actually HE was the cocreater, not in the sense that they were sperate beings, but more like the brain and the mind working in the unity in one body; such as, different parts of one body.GOD spoke the word and through the word it was manifested. Genesis 1:3 (NKJ) says, then GOD says ” let there be light and there was light.” Light came into existence through the word of GOD. As one continues to read on, they will find that other things in creation came into existance through the words of GOD. Now when one reads Genesis 1:26(NKJ) it shows that GOD has a cocreater, for it says, then GOD says,”Let (us) make man in our image, according to our likeness.” Alot of people have been puzzled on who is us and what does the image of GOD and HIS likeness mean? I can assure you and back it up with scriptures that us is GOD and JESUS. How do the scriptures back this up? 1John 1:4(NKJ) says ,”In the begining was the word, and the word was with GOD and the word was GOD. HE was in the begining with GOD. All things were made through HIM, and without HIM nothing was made. In HIM was life and the life was the light of man. This wasn’t just to mean that HE came to save mankind from sin, but it shows that the word was the light that brought life into this world and that it was through the word that mankind was created. Life started through JESUS , it was in JESUS’ likeness and image we were created and it is through HIM that our life will continue forever.
Now it has been established that the word was in the begining with GOD and manifested what GOD commended. But the question may be asked, who is the word? In John 1:4 ( NKJ) says, This man (speaking of John the baptist, see verse 6) came for a witness, to bear witness of the light, that all through HIM might believe; John the baptist was a witness of the light and the light was the word. according to John 1: 14-17 says, And the word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we behold His glory. The glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth. John born witness of Him and cried out saying,” this was He whom I said, He who come after me is preferred before me, for He was before me. And of His fullness we have all received, and grace for grace. For the law was given through Moses, but grace and truth come through Jesus Christ.” Also John 5: 31-33 says, If I (Jesus) bear witness of myself, my witness is not truth. There is another who bear witness of me, and I know that the witness which He witness of me is true. You have sent to John, and he born witness to the truth.
This all shows that Jesus is not just the son of God, but He is the word which God spoke to create the universe. He is the likeness that we were created. It was through the word(Jesus) that life begin and it is through Him that life will continue forever. “AMEN!”
