My beautiful wife couldn’t stand the thought of me spending Christmas alone. So when she scheduled our EFV (Extended Family Visit), she sacrificed an earlier available date for a later date that fell on December 23rd – 25th.
This will be my first Christmas in decades that I’ll get to spend with someone I truly love. It’ll also be the first Christmas that Suzie and I will get to spend together in person.
EFV’s are so important and meaningful to us and our marriage. The precious moments we have are spent bonding, loving, laughing, and enjoying each other. We cook, clean, listen to music, sing and dance. We read the Bible, pray, and share testimonies. We cuddle up and watch movies. For 48 hours, we get to experience all the little things which married couples out in society experience daily.
