POEM by- KARLTON M.KINCAID

“ANCIENT”

of which I am, is ageless,
of which I’m not, is aging,
am which is, age being,
old as is young thinks,

ancient and born again,
die to renew what lives,
bornth, I’m an ancient kid,
an elder of eldest men,

as young as the sun in morning,
eternal am I, to awaken,
enlightened to life, I’m restless,
shine on the eyes of whose open,

as old as the moon’s light focus,
illuminate the age slept night-guest,
the “rest” of us, death’s chosen,
my ancient clothe is flesh woven,
