POEM by- KARLTON M.KINCAID

“HOPE”

as hopeless as it may be,
where a smile to an eye meet,
how true is hope’s try to reach,
love meets the one whose shone teeth.

white as light shines free,
dark is the mind blindly,
to see in life, a handicap’s dream,
have faith, the soul envisions being.

i met a smile,
as curved as turns a dial,
captured by cheeks awhile,
being free to share a smile.

my smile met an eye,
overwhelmed as a giggling child,
hopelessness proceeds new trials,
of hope being adjust of new smiles.
