A Mothers Love by Matthew Epperson

Share

I have done you wrong. I have lied to you, cheated you, stolen from you, and abandoned you. Though I’ve never hit you, I’ve hurt you and made you cry. I’ve disappointed and upset you. I’ve mocked you and your believes. I have taken advantage of your kindness, your generosity, and your love. You’ve raised me in truth, and I’ve lived a lie. You’ve labored with no end in sight so that I might have a brighter future, and here I am in prison. I have been a horrible son; one that most mothers would disown, but I have to tell you something. You are my star and I am your biggest fan. I know that I’m a messed up son, but whenever I have moments of clarity, you are the reason. I know that love’s actions are more important than lovely words, but words are all I have to act on now. I know the damage is done, the pain is irrevocable, and I know you lose sleep at night worrying about me, but I want you to know that your efforts were not in vain. I love you more than anything else on this earth.

Your Son,

Dear son,

Shut up! I forgive you. 🙂

HAPPY MOTHERS DAY TO ALL MOMS

Go see something live!

  1. Your sorrow and internal regrets are more than one can bare. Your words of sorrow are saddening to a mother’s heart although, as your mother, I pray you have recieved joy and comfort from the True One that forgives. My forgiveness comforts your human heart but the true Comforter is your heavenly father who forgives the vilest of sinners. His unconditional love is everlasting. He will never leave you nor forsake you even in the darkest hours. A mother’s love is earthly love and cannot be compared to your heavenly father’s love, so cling on to His love for comfort. I am grateful for your repentance and grateful our heavenly father granted me the precious gift of you.
