Hello my name is Jeremy. I am 27 years old. I have been in prison since 2012 and my earliest release date is June 2021.
I have many hobbies and things I do to pass the time as well as possible. I learned to draw in prison and before then had no artistic abilities what so ever, now I enjoy tattooing as one of my hobbies as well as a collected of body art myself
I have a son that is about to turn 6 in a couple months, He is the biggest source I take from to keep me going and strong, we have a very strong relationship even being born while I was in prison, I do not lie to him and he knows his dad did something that was not allowed and I’m in a place that adults go when there in trouble, I’m married to his mother but unfortunately the stress of my doing a large portion of time was to much for our relationship to bear and we decided to go our separate ways in life. We are working on the divorce now.
I have a strong bond with my immediate family and in the recent years learned what it is to be a big brother when my mom adopted two son’s, one is 5 and the other is 8 now, my heart opened to them and I am able to gain more experience because they look up to me very much, even being in a place like this, so having them and my son in my life is a blessing and it made me realize the way I lived my life was not correct, and not just the criminal mentality but also my relationships and friendships with others as well.
I’m not perfect and nobody is but, I recognize that I have some changing to do and I’m okay with myself now and working on myself little by little.

Jeremy, thank you for posting so honestly. That’s the only way. We seem to learn the hard way best and I wish it wasn’t so but I’m pretty thick headed at times.

Isaiah 53:6 “All of us, like sheep, have strayed away. We have left GOD’s paths to follow our own. Yet the LORD laid on HIM the sins of us all!”
Rescued before the Start!
For all have sinned and fallen down
before even reaching the chasm;
that gap between us, CHRIST’s Creation and HIM!
Consequently…our Hopes seem imbalanced.
By GOD’s Grace upholding our standing, “The Many” HE drew with
HIS Life,
are those HE made righteous with Calvary’s blood! Thus no distance at present divides us!
For HE made and carried our frames; creating Love’s bridge for these steps.
What price which HE paid!
Yea, how blest is HIS NAME! HE WHO cleansed us from all of sin’s debts!
Though broken and bound there by shadows, even where we breathed prostrate, distressed;
HE, triumphantly, transforming death into life…shall transport our souls into Heav’n!
No matter how long then YOU tarry,
our hearts remain waiting upon THEE!
For YOUR blood built the bridge which shall carry us home!
So we watch, LORD, with faith! Yea! Come quickly!

Devotional: Romans 3:23 “…for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of GOD.” It is because of this verse that the latter part of Isaiah 53:6 is so precious to us!
We often talk of being at the edge of the chasm between GOD and man. Somehow the descriptions heard often seem to say how close we are to making it and just need a bit more “bridge” to add to our own structure (efforts).
But consider Isaiah 64:6 “All of us have become like one who is unclean, and all our righteous acts are like filthy rags; we all shrivel up like a leaf, and like the wind our sins sweep us away.”
Our “works” bridge is faulty, broken and stained. We serve and pray and love as HE instructs us. But all of our life’s efforts…when compared to the bridge length needed to CROSS over into Heaven, are not only short, they CANNOT add to HIS sacrifice.
HE alone paid the price to build that glorious bridge! New wine isn’t added to old wineskins nor does keeping the Law transactionally mean we can ever “earn” boards to build with.
My vision sees souls far, far from the Gap…dead in our own trespasses and sins…even at the starting line.
Even BEFORE Time, HIS plan to rescue HIS own was secured. On the Cross HIS cry of “It is finished!” meant the Bridge was completed. No more could not can be added.
So what Joy we have to abandon our sins, to press into HIM WHO truly “paid it all”, to serve others relentlessly and to wait for our SAVIOUR!
1 Peter 1:8-9 “Though you have not seen HIM, you love HIM; and even though you do not see HIM now, you believe in him and are filled with an inexpressible and glorious joy, for you are receiving the end result of your faith, the salvation of your souls!”
