My name is John Lewis Seay, I’m 37 years old, I was incarcerated on June 27th 2004 at the age of 23 and the release date I have right now is March of 2046.
You asked to share a little about myself. Well all my life I’ve been a provider, fixer, do it myself, my way, until October of 2013 when I surrendered my life to Jesus Christ. Since then I’ve been at peace and lived a stress free life. It took me until the age of 33 and 10 years into my incarceration to find this joy that I was always seeking while in society. I thank God for my captivity, for I would not have turned to Him the way I was living. Now I’m seeking a second chance to once again live amongst those in society.
I like playing and watching sports. I play basketball, softball, volleyball and soccer. Enjoy all types of music, from Country to Rock to Pop to old 90’s Rap and R & B.
I Love my family & friends and pray they all find Jesus Christ. I’m patiently waiting on a Proverbs 31wife. I’ve worked in the law library since 2010 and enjoy helping my fellow prisoners. My co-worker Tavoris Courtney and myself started a ministry where we put together Christian literature, tracts, daily devotionals, calendars, pocket sermons, etc.. inside envelopes and then pass them out to the guys coming into prison through orientation/receiving. We also collect and pass out used Bibles and books for the new guys to read.
