The Against the System series is dedicated to my sons, Damian and Aaron.
The idea of Against the System came to me several years ago before my present incarceration. Even back then I felt compelled to write and share some of my experiences, but for one reason or another I never was able to get the project off the ground. Now that I have that opportunity, I am eager to share my story.
At a glimpse, the Against the System series is a narrative of the extraordinary events in my life. Journey with me as the story unfolds from the streets of my hometown to the various courtrooms that I have had cases in – including the U.S. Supreme Court.
As the author of this series, I thank you for taking the time to read my series as I hope it will give you a better understanding of both me and my plight.
