My Current Book by Matthew Epperson

I want to say how thankful I am for my parents. Two loving people, married for 35 years, 6 children, and they are still following their hearts. I admire you both and I’m lucky to have you as parents. Your steadfast love for me has made me, and is making me, the man I am today and tomorrow. Words can’t express my feelings towards you both and how thankful I am. Love you and I hope you are becoming more proud of your baby boy!

The Mind Catcher by John Darnton. I’ve been reading this for close to a week now and let me tell you, it is a real page turner. Not in the traditional sense of suspense novels, but in an algorithmic fashion. The story chips away at a conundrum from the beginning and builds up momentum with tantalizing details. It doesn’t take your breath away, rather, it hastens your breathing. Two neuroscientists are trying to capture the mind, not brain, and funnel the conscious into a computer. With the epxpectation of redownloading the conscious, they have conjured up immortality. But, as it stands, Tyler, their young patient, doesn’t seem to be adjusting all to well. Great read and I’m expecting a brow-sweating ending. Often with this book, I keep my dictionary readily available. Mr. Darnton definitely did his research in the field of medicine to create his characters and the language and vocabulary are advanced, but fun. Hope you all get a chance to read it.

Now, with my book. I’m finally coming to a closee and I’ve created a twisted ending that will leave you empty and satisfied at the same time. For the past 4 months I’ve been closing in on the ending with no direction. I’ve had an ending from the start, but arriving there has been the challenge. Today, I began the final journey of the last chapter and it is a huge sigh of relieve. Via networking, I’ve gathered numerous people who are expecting the book. I’m planning to have it finished and ready to be destroyed by an editor come the end of summer. Fingers crosed! =)

Keep cool, have a good day, and go see something live!
