My name is Marcus D. White, inmate #A499-320. I am 35 years old. I have been incarcerated since October 12, 2003 and my parole board date is October 12th 2028!
As I have been incarcerated since I was 21 years old, I am grateful for the opportunity to allow my voice to be heard. I believe, I have a lot to offer the world. The saying goes, “you can learn a lot from a dummy”!:-) Though, I was not a bad man/person before I came to prison, I am not the same man that walked through those doors almost 15 years ago!
I am not one of those angry inmates, mad at the world for the choices I made! I understand a human lost their life at my hands, no matter the reason! If I can make someone’s life better by sharing my bad choices, mistakes, short comings or just allow them to view the world through my eyes, I am willing to be the change I want to see in the world!
So with my first blog, I want to remind the world to think, speak and act positively. No matter how bad your situation may be, positive thoughts, words and actions bring about positive change! Positive thoughts create positive energy! “Life is 10% what happens to YOU and 90% how you react/respond”!
“YOU” are not you’re situation, position in life, what happend in your past! With every new day, there is another chance to love, be loved, be a better, stronger, wiser YOU! Love, Peace and Happiness upon YOU!
Sincerely,
Marcus D. White
