It’s the most common attitude in prison. Convicts against the cops. And it’s the most destructive. It gets you in the mode of glorifying prison and criminal activity. It makes you proud of scamming and lying and stealing. It’s irrational. And individuality is the way to fight against it. You have to go your own way, you have to not care what the masses in the dayroom think of you. You have to stay away from that groupthink that causes so many prisoners to stay in the criminal-mindset rut for so long.
