I know it’s difficult in here, since the tendency is always to group up, to find safety in numbers, etc. But individuality is the key to personal growth. The saying “Be your own man” is important because we ARE our own men. Human beings are individuals, not cogs on a collective wheel. No one can do our thinking for us. We alone have to face the consequences of our bad decisions and the benefits of our good ones. And most of all, we have to learn to think for ourselves, to not take any knowledge from an authority (God or otherwise), including knowledge about morality. It is for each one of us to learn and verify for ourselves.
