We sometimes as human beings forget who we are, and the people that can remind us are close friends and family. Life is a very confusing game. Yeah i said game, if you play it right you can win, and if its not played right the road can have more bumps than a nestle crunch bar.

To never forget who you are is to stay true to what you believe in. At times whats true to you might not be whats true to the next man, but thats the next mans problems not yours. When i moved from California to Washington, a big part of who i was never traveled with me. And i did not relize it until the years began to fly by. The way i talked began to change, I started to pick up the washington lingo.

Now im not saying that the washington lingo is a bad thing, its just not my swag. Now remember i said all of me didnt travel with me from California, so if i began to talk like im from Washington im losing track of my roots. When i call back home and im talking to the homies, i hear how i use to sound. But a week with them and i feel like im right back in the mix.

I used language as a subsitute, you might feel this way about something totally different. A intimate relationship can make you lose track of who you are,and where you came from. Money can make you forget who you are. There are so many things that can give you a character detour. But the one thing you should always remember is to stand for something or fall for anything.
