WHERE IS FORGIVENESS FOUND?

Share

THE QUESTION NOW HAS TO BE “WHERE IS FORGIVENESS FOUND?”

THAT’S A VERY HARD QUESTION TO ANSWER, BUT SIMPLY PUT, FORGIVENESS IN MY CASE CAME FROM MY LORD AND SAVIOR JESUS CHRIST.

IN MOST MURDER CASE’S, THE PERETRATOR OF THE CRIME CAN NOT HAVE ANY CONTACT WITH THE VICTIM’S FAMILY.

I WOULD LIKE THE OPPORTUNITY TO HAVE SOME FORM OF DIALOG WITH THE FAMILY, SO I CAN EXPRESS MY DEEPEST CONDOLENCE’S AND ASK FOR THEIR FORGIVENESS.

DO I EXPECT THEM TO FORGIVE ME? TRUTHFULLY, I WOULD LIKE FOR THEM TO FORGIVE ME BUT IF IT’S NOT ON THEIR HEART TO DO SO, THEN I WILL JUST HAVE TO WAIT UNTIL THAT DAY COME’S WHEN THEY CAN FORGIVE ME .

WHAT I WOULD LIKE FOR THEM TO KNOW IS THAT I AM NOT THAT PUNK-ASS KID ANYMORE.

I AM NOW A MAN WHO IS RESPONSIBLE FOR HIS ACTION’S AND I HOLD MYSELF ACCOUNTABLE FOR ALL THAT I DO. THAT’S HOW A MAN CONDUCTS HIMSELF.

IS THERE EVER GOING TO BE A POINT IN THIS LIFETIME THAT THEY CAN KNOW THE MAN THAT REACHES OUT TO THE KIDS AND TELLS THEM OF THE CONSEQUENCES OF BAD DECISIONS?

WOULD THEY WANT TO?

ULTIMATELY, I CANT DEPEND ON ANYONES FORGIVENESS, I CAN DESIRE IT, BUT TRUTH BE TOLD THE ONLY FORGIVENESS THAT I REALLY NEED IS THE ONE THAT COMES FROM WITHIN.

I HOPE THAT I HAVE REPRESENTED THIS TOPIC IN THE RIGHT MANNER BUT IF I HAVEN’T, PLEASE JUST TRY TO HEAR WHAT IM SAYING.

UNTIL THE NEXT TIME.
BE SAFE OUT THERE.

  1. Jai’mar, thank you for these profound insights and for opening your heart to us (and to God). It takes a big man to ask for forgiveness. Unfortunately, it takes an even bigger man to extend forgiveness to another. I pray that you will find the peace you seek.

  2. I’ve been thinking about your words a lot. I have enjoyed reading your blog and always look forward to your next entry. You have helped me see so much about myself.
I feel that all people are the same and we experience the same things in slightly different ways.
I have been thinking about if I had been the person that you had murdered and how happy I would be if I was the reason that you had turned your life around and changed so many people’s lives. I would feel like my life, how ever long it had been, was a life well lived.
I don’t feel like it’s forgiveness that’s needed but honoring your life, the person you killed and all others.
I think that person you killed gave you a beautiful gift, by giving you the opportunity to take the time to learn and grow. If this had never happened maybe you would not be where you are now.
I feel you have so much to share with the world. Some people go to monasteries, other people go to prison, some people get lost but I think you found yourself and you can help others do the same.
    Peace be with you.

  3. Forgiveness ultimately comes back to yourself and no other place. Forgiveness is not found on the outside no matter how you or somebody else has treated you or the actions that were created. Forgiveness is about finding it inside and allowing yourself to forgive yourself and ultimately let go of whatever you are holding on to that does not allow you to forgive.

  4. “I AM NOW A MAN WHO IS RESPONSIBLE FOR HIS ACTION’S AND I HOLD MYSELF ACCOUNTABLE FOR ALL THAT I DO. THAT’S HOW A MAN CONDUCTS HIMSELF.”

    I Love That

  5. Jai’mar……..State you case for forgiveness. I want to hear what you have done to deserve this consideration. Hadn’t expected to deal with this so soon, but its time to step up to the plate and take care of business.
